Every child deserves the chance to learn.

For £20 a month, you can help a child in Uganda stay in school, receive essential support and look towards a brighter future.

Step Up Family Organisation (SUFO) is a small, volunteer-run charity supporting vulnerable children in Uganda through education, sponsorship and practical care.

We believe that every child deserves opportunity, encouragement and the chance to build a better future.

What does £20 a month provide?

Your sponsorship helps provide:

• School fees
• School uniform, bag and essential supplies
• Food
• Everyday clothing and essentials
• A birthday celebration and new outfit
• A Christmas outfit

But sponsorship is about more than the items a child receives.

It’s about knowing that someone cares, that their education matters and that they have someone cheering them on.

A small charity. A community that cares.

When you sponsor through SUFO, you’re not just making a monthly payment.

You’re becoming part of a community of sponsors, volunteers and our team in Uganda, all working towards the same goal.

You’ll receive photos and updates about your sponsored child, with opportunities to exchange letters and messages.

Our trustees are approachable, our team is actively involved and we believe in showing our sponsors the difference their support makes.

Where does your money go?

Transparency matters to us.

SUFO is run by volunteers, and sponsorship contributions help provide the education and essentials promised to the children.

School fees are paid directly to schools, while our team in Uganda helps purchase and distribute essential items.

We share updates and photographs so sponsors can see the support being provided.

Alongside sponsorship, donations and fundraising help us improve facilities, provide additional resources and support children with wider needs.

Could you be the reason a child stays in school?

We have children who need sponsors.

For £20 a month, you could help provide the stability and practical support that makes continuing their education possible.

Not in a position to sponsor right now? You can still make a difference. A donation, a fundraiser or simply sharing SUFO with someone you know helps us reach more people.
